ABOUT US
Our 3rd HOMEPLACE opened in Durand, WI in June of 2006, and is the only HOMEPLACE that is brand new construction. Located on the outskirts of Durand it sits on a beautiful meadow looking out at a hilltop of tall trees. Deer and wildlife frequently visit. There are 12 apartments currently, however the building was intentionally designed for expansion.
You, your family member -- individuals and couples -- are welcome at our small town HOMEPLACE of Durand, WI, located on the banks of the beautiful Chippewa River. Our tenants and staff often know each other in this warm, interesting community which has a nice selection of churches, shopping, medical facilities, parks, museum, library and other services close by.

•All care-giving staff members respond to the health care need of all tenants as the needs arise. Family conferences are arranged as tenant needs change as part of the service to all. Our activities director enjoys leading everyone in exercises, games and other programs.
•Delicious meals are prepared by our cooks at Alberta May's Restaurant (located in our Stanley complex). We feature home cooked meals. Each HOMEPLACE also has an on-site preparation and serving kitchen.
•From the time a decision is made to move to one of our HOMEPLACES, we offer as many choices as possible. This freedom of choice is shown in many ways: from the range of options for personal care to freedom in decorating an apartment. Over time, as the tenants' physical and medical needs change, our facilities and staff seamlessly transition the services to accommodate any need. In our RCAC Assisted Living Apartments we can provide up to 28 hours of care each week. In our CBRF Haven Alzheimer's & Dementia care units we provide unlimited care. Our tenants and residents retain their freedom and independence as much as possible by having their own apartment homes, while receiving selected services. Couples can stay together. Family members may visit and even make reservations to use our guest rooms. Friends and family are always welcome to enjoy meals with tenants.
